Superintendent’s Message
The Eminence Community School Corporation has been educating students since 1858, and we take great pride in our long and rich history. The corporation includes approximately 490 students from Adams and Ashland townships in rural Morgan County, some twenty-five minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport. Our schools, Eminence Elementary and Eminence Junior-Senior High, are under one roof, which gives us a unique opportunity to create a safe, nurturing and caring atmosphere for our students.
The Old National Trail Special Services Cooperative provides additional special education services, if necessary. Our juniors and seniors, wishing to pursue vocational education opportunities, are able to do so by attending the Area 30 Career Center.
We feel very fortunate to be in a community that has given us outstanding support over our many years of existence. That community support, along with the hard work and dedication of our employees, our parents, and our students, will help us make a difference in the lives of the young people we work with on a daily basis. We must all understand the importance of a quality education and play a part in its delivery.
We want our website to keep our parents, students, staff, and community aware of the activities and news about our schools. If you are in need of additional information or have questions, feel free to contact the school offices or the corporation office.
