Friday afternoon the Eminence Lions Club, Eminence community members and school staff members attended the dedication of Jonathan Newby’s Eagle Scout project. Jonathan’s project was turning an otherwise unused area into an attractive, useful outdoor classroom and work area that can also be used during lunch time by the students on these pleasant days. Through the efforts of the Eminence Lion’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Jonathan and his parents, the vision of a useful space has come together. The Lions Club was instrumental in providing the picnic tables and working with Jonathan to see his vision come alive. Congratulations Jonathan, we are proud of your accomplishments and are thankful for the useful space for all Eminence students to enjoy!
