Welcome to Eminence Community School Corporation’s website. As Superintendent, I am proud of the accomplishments we have made and continue to make here at Eminence. One of our sayings is that Eminence is a great place to learn! I truly believe this is a great place. Our small size is a positive benefit to our children, teachers and staff. We are able to provide a private school atmosphere and education in a public school setting where all students are invited to grow and learn.
For the 2014-15 school year, Eminence Elementary received an “A” from the Indiana Department of Education. Our students and staff have continued a strong track record of excellence in elementary education. The elementary staff continues to find ways to make early education an exciting time for our children. Last October, we opened Eminence Community Preschool for children ages 3-5.
Eminence Jr.-Sr. High School offers an outstanding Agriculture and FFA program. It is one of the few in the area and has an excellent reputation for being very active. Our Agricultural Sales team were announced as State Winners in last summer and have moved on to the national competetion. In addition, past experiences our students have participated in includes: Million Meals Challenge with Cory Redding, National FFA Convention, and various community outreach events.
These are just a few examples of the wonderful activities taking place in our schools. If you are interested in joining the Eminence community, please contact me directly at (765) 528-2101. I would love discuss with you why I believe, “Eminence is a great place to learn!”
It’s a great day to be an Eel!
