Eminence Community Preschool strives to ensure that all students develop a positive self-concept, the ability to problem solve, the ability to negotiate with their peers, and engage in a variety of hands-on, language rich, learning experiences..  Eminence believes that it is the shared responsibility of the students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and community to provide a creative learning environment where each child can develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically to master the essential skills necessary to become successful, lifelong learners.

Due to concerns around COVID-19, we are suspending our 3 year old class for the 2020-2021 school year. We plan to restore the Tot class in the future.

We are also postponing the start of the preschool year until after Labor Day to give us more opportunity to work on our procedures around COVID prevention. Students’ 4th birthdays must be before August 1st to be eligible for the 4 year old Tators class. Taters attend from 8 am until 2:45 pm. Pickup will be at the North Doors (Door 5). Breakfast is free and snacks are provided.  Throughout the day, students will engage in activities including counting and art tasks, reading stories, readiness skills such as colors, shapes, and math, and craft time to promote creativity and following directions independently.

Enrollment for students is on a first come first serve basis.  To attend Eminence preschool, the following information is required:

  • Completed Enrollment Pack
  • Copy of child’s birth certificate
  • Copy of child’s immunization record
  • Receipt of 1st month’s Tuition Payment and Annual Material Fee
