Field trips that spark learning, book fair season, and Lady Q gearing up for Easter.

Dear School Families and Community,
Spring has arrived and everything feels a bit better - especially the weather. In the week leading up to break, our kids traveled to Indianapolis and represented us well. The students in K-2 enjoyed an adventurous field trip to The Children’s Museum and our band members performed at U of Indy. Field trip or not, our kids find joy, just look at the last picture!
A major highlight this month was the top-notch winter sports banquet—and PTO absolutely outdid themselves with a spring break send-off full of incredible snacks and dips in the teacher lounges.
As we head into April, we will kick off the Scholastic Book Fair, led by our Book Fair Queen, Becky Eisenhour! The fair runs April 3–10, with a PTO kickoff night on April 2. Beyond the excitement, the Book Fair helps students discover books they actually want to read (a win), builds lifelong readers, and supports our school with new books and resources.
Lady Q, Eminence’s royal bunny, is on the move and hopping into Easter mode—hiding eggs across the school, each one packed with tickets for the Eel Store. Happy Hunting! The Eel Store opens again on April 7th.
As we wrap up the final nine weeks of school, we are providing dedicated time during lunch and after school on Fridays for students to complete missing work. If your student has excessive missing assignments, they will be expected to attend one of these sessions to get caught up.
